Announcing the Release of the 2023 Annual Report for the Rural Gone Urban Foundation

The Rural Gone Urban Foundation is excited to announce the release of its 2023 Annual Report, reflecting a year filled with purpose, resilience, and community impact. This report captures the heart of our mission: to invest in brave and strong women through scholarships, small business grants, and our Love Bombs program.

In 2023, we proudly awarded a total of $31,000 in funds to 25 remarkable individuals. These grants empower women navigating the complexities of life and illness, ensuring they have the support they need to thrive.

2023 Highlights Include:

  • Scholarships: With 358 applicants from 28 states, our inaugural scholarship program awarded $15,000 to individuals pursuing higher education, trade schools, and professional programs.

  • Love Bombs Program: Launched in March 2023, this program provides no-questions-asked grants to women battling cancer. We are thrilled to report that $16,000 was distributed to support 10 extraordinary women facing health challenges.

  • Fundraising Success: Our two key fundraising events—the Wanderlust Gala and the Gone Golf Tournament—together raised an impressive $99,175, allowing us to continue our work in the community.

Brooke Clay Taylor, our founding board chair, reflected on this year’s achievements, stating, “With each story we share and each woman we support, we are building a legacy of love that inspires others to chase their dreams and empower those around them.”

We invite you to celebrate our accomplishments with us and look forward to continuing our mission in 2024 and beyond! Thank you for your support!
