Host a Fundraiser. Make a Big Impact.
You have the passion. We’ve got the mission. Let’s combine forces and raise some serious funds for the women who need it most. Hosting a fundraiser for the Rural Gone Urban Foundation isn’t just about collecting donations—it’s about building a movement. When you fundraise with us, you're supporting women who are working through tough times, building their own businesses, or just trying to survive in a world that often overlooks them.
So, what's in it for you? Besides the warm fuzzy feeling of doing something great, you're also putting your energy toward changing the world for women who truly deserve it. You don’t need a degree in nonprofit fundraising (though we’ll take a good PowerPoint presentation if you’ve got one). You just need the drive to make something happen.

Pick Your Method
Whether you’re hosting a taco night at the local watering hole or making us the beneficiary of your Facebook birthday fundraiser, we support you. Get creative. The more fun, the better.
-
Set Your Goal
What do you want to raise? $100? $1,000? $50,000? We’re here for all of it. Just let us know how much you want to raise so we can cheer you on from the sidelines (or, let’s be real, from our computers).
-
Get the Word Out
Tell your friends, family, neighbors, and random people you meet at the grocery store. Use social media, emails, flyers—whatever it takes.
-
Donate the Funds
After your fundraiser, just send the money our way (we’ll send you the details, don’t worry). We’ll make sure it goes directly to funding our three main initiatives: small business grants, scholarships, and love bombs.
Why Make Us the Beneficiary of Your Fundraising Initiative?
This isn’t your typical nonprofit. We’re scrappy, honest, and fueled by the belief that women in rural communities deserve just as much support, respect, and opportunity as anyone else. We have small business grants, scholarships for those who aren’t chasing perfection, and love bombs that make sure cancer survivors know we’ve got their backs. And it’s all because of people like you.
