RGUF Releases 2022 Annual Report
The Rural Gone Urban Foundation today released its 2022 Annual Report (opens new window), highlighting the organizations’s activities and accomplishments for the past year.
“In 2022, the Rural Gone Urban Foundation worked tirelessly through 100 percent volunteer hours to establish a foundation - from scratch - that will support strong women doing brave things,” Chairwoman Brooke Taylor said. “I’m honored this foundation exists. March 2022, when given an allegedly incurable diagnosis, I couldn’t see the forest for the trees. I wanted, desperately, to leave a lasting legacy for my then two year old daughter. I'm humbled that this foundation is no longer about me. It's become bigger, and better, and more impactful.”
The RGUF Board in 2022 focused on establishing systems, processes, and a robust community of donors.
Report highlights include:
Donors represent 28 states and Ontario, and online gifts ranged from $50 to $5,000.
Total revenue clocked in at $60,891.67.
Percentage of board giving: 100 percent.
The Rural Gone Urban Foundation is funded entirely through cash donations and corporate donors to fund three pillars of stupendous giving: scholarships for B and C students, grants supporting small-town women whose businesses only exist as ideas, and grants for women in the ring with cancer.
