Rural Gone Urban Foundation Partners with Local Ink Oklahoma to Launch Mission-Driven Merch Collection

The Rural Gone Urban Foundation, Inc. announced today a new partnership with Local Ink, a Gore-based woman-owned custom print shop, to launch a mission-driven merchandise collection benefiting brave and strong rural women. Ten percent of all proceeds from the collection will be directed to the Rural Gone Urban Foundation, Inc., a rural Oklahoma 501(c)(3).

The collection — available now at localinkok.com — features Comfort Colors tees and foam-front trucker hats bearing messages like Brave. Strong. Rural., The Hell I Won't, and Raise Them Rural, designed for people who are proud of where they come from.

"This partnership is everything our foundation stands for," said Brooke Clay Taylor, Founder and Board Chair of the Rural Gone Urban Foundation. "Taralee is exactly the kind of woman we exist to support — a rural business owner who is brave, capable, and deeply rooted in her community. Partnering with her to fund our programs just makes sense."

Local Ink is owned by Taralee Montgomery, a Gore, Oklahoma native, small business owner, wife, mother, and PTA president who knows firsthand what it means to build something meaningful in a rural community.

"When Brooke shared the foundation's mission with me, I knew immediately this was something I wanted to be a part of," said Montgomery. "These women — the ones fighting cancer, building businesses, chasing degrees — they deserve to be seen and supported. If we can do that through a great-looking tee, even better."

Proceeds from the collection fund three core programs of the Rural Gone Urban Foundation:

  • Love Bombs — Judgment-free grants for women in the trenches with cancer who are focused on establishing a living legacy for their loved ones.

  • Scholarships — Financial support for brave, capable rural women building their futures through an accredited college or university, trade school, or professional training program.

  • Small Business Grants — Funding for marketing assets for rural women entrepreneurs who are open for business and ready to grow.

The Rural Gone Urban Foundation, Inc. is a rural Oklahoma 501(c)(3) that invests in brave, capable women — because if you've been knocked down, underfunded, or told you can't? Yes you can.
