The Rural Gone Urban Foundation Announces Third Annual Gone Golf Open Tournament

The Rural Gone Urban Foundation is gearing up for its Third Annual Gone Golf Open Tournament, set for Saturday, April 26, at Golf Club at Cimarron Trails in Perkins, Oklahoma. This isn’t just another golf tournament—it’s a day packed with camaraderie, competition, and a whole lot of good times, all for a cause that matters.

The Gone Golf Open Tournament is more than a day on the green; it’s an opportunity to make a real impact in the lives of rural women through scholarships, small business grants, and Love Bombs for those facing cancer.

"This tournament has become one of our favorite days of the year—bringing people together, raising funds, and having a ridiculously good time while doing it," said Brooke Clay Taylor, Board Chair of the Rural Gone Urban Foundation. "We’re not just here to play golf. We’re here to show up for brave and strong women in rural communities who need people in their corner."

Get Involved – Be Part of the Impact

This year, the foundation is actively seeking sponsors, teams, and businesses to join the fun. Whether you’re looking to bring your team for a great day of golf or get your company’s name on the leaderboard as a sponsor, there’s a way for everyone to get involved.

  • Team Registration ($400) – Includes a 4-person scramble team, 18 holes, cart fees, and lunch by Down The Road Q.

  • Sponsorship Opportunities – From Title Sponsor to Hole Sponsors, businesses can align with a mission that matters while gaining exposure.

  • Corporate Teams – Employers are encouraged to send their hard-working employees to a day on the course. They’ve earned it.

This tournament isn’t about stuffy corporate golf—it’s a come-as-you-are, have-a-damn-good-time kind of day. Think good food, cold drinks, epic raffle prizes.
