“I Pink I Can” Returns for Its Third Year
On October 10, Pure Skin and Aesthetics in Stillwater, Okla. will host its third annual I Pink I Can event, once again partnering with the Rural Gone Urban Foundation. What began as a local initiative to raise awareness and support for women facing cancer has quickly grown into a community favorite.
For one day each October, Pure opens its doors with a purpose: a portion of every treatment, product purchase, and pre-paid service is donated directly to the Rural Gone Urban Foundation. Those funds fuel scholarships for rural students, small business grants for women, and Love Bomb grants for women navigating the financial strain of cancer.
“We love this day,” the team at Pure shared. “It’s one of our favorites each year because of the way our patients rally with us. Watching so many people show up for women in the hardest seasons of their lives is incredibly special.”
This year’s event will feature appointments throughout the day, plus the chance to stop by for skincare purchases, treats, and a chance to be part of something bigger. For many patients, I Pink I Can has become a tradition—a way to invest in themselves while also investing in women and students who need the support.
For the Rural Gone Urban Foundation, the impact goes far beyond a single day. “When local businesses like Pure stand beside us, it multiplies what we can do,” said founder Brooke Taylor. “These funds are converted into opportunity—whether that’s a scholarship for a rural student or a grant that gives a woman with cancer space to make memories with her family.”
October is often marked by pink ribbons, but I Pink I Can brings the meaning closer to home. It’s about the women in our communities who need someone in their corner, and the power of coming together to make sure they are seen and supported.
